User Experience Improvement & Human Centered Design to Further Global Diplomacy
The U.S. Department of State, Bureau of Administration, Office of Logistics Management (A/LM) supports U.S. diplomacy by providing efficient logistics and services. A/LM required a full modernization of its applications utilizing human centered design to promote user experience improvement.
We designed a site that is intuitive for all users, focusing on service-based homepage visual icons, and full navigation of subsites based on organizational structure. By bringing all applicable sites under a single A/LM intranet portal, each organizational level is provided the flexibility to customize content and UX.
Our team also provided A/LM’s content managers the training and resources they needed, ensuring the continual building, updating, and maintaining of the site. This allowed optimal user feedback critical to the ongoing creative and development processes for the project.
Aside from project management and overall user experience improvement, we offer helpdesk support, configuration management, and security (compliance with federal guidelines including NIST and OMB). We use Agile Project Management techniques and our Human Centered Design process to efficiently produce rapid, high quality deliverables.
