In doing so, AAFMAA aims to protect sensitive data and maintain compliance with FISMA and PCI DSS security standards. AAFMAA undertook a major Information Security and stability initiative for their billing and payment processes for members, particularly the functionality of its credit card payment system.
Using leading-edge enterprise and cybersecurity solutions, MetroStar optimized the security of transaction and database processing.
MetroStar built a centralized payments module and revamped AAFMAA’s transaction processing, storage and database security, billing, and accounting processes. The new system, which is compliant with the latest PCI-DSS, allowed employees to access member credit card information with utmost security, ensuring that members financial data are not only efficiently managed and securely stored, but always protected.
