MetroStar Systems Named One of Inc. Magazine’s 2017 Best Workplaces

MetroStar Systems has been named one of the Best Workplaces in Inc. Magazine’s June 2017 issue, demonstrating the company’s relentless effort to power operational and cultural excellence.

MetroStar Systems CEO and Co-founder, Ali Reza Manouchehri notes, “Any company can accomplish great things, but to create an environment that inspires the team—to make your workforce feel that as part of the company, they are able to make a meaningful impact—that’s something that only a company with the best corporate culture can achieve.”

Inc. Magazine’s Best Workplaces Awards ranks private companies in America who have created workplaces that are celebrated and recognized because of their vibrant cultures, deep employee engagement, and stellar benefits. The publication awarded 200 companies out of thousands of applicants.

In cooperation with Quantum Workplace, a company that specializes in gathering and assessing employee feedback, Inc. assessed applicant companies based on their employees’ responses to a unique, thirty-question survey that covered benefits, corporate environment, and company culture.

“By introducing an employee survey into this year’s Best Workplaces selection process, we’ve really raised the bar,” comments a representative from the awarding committee. “Companies that don’t score at the very top of their peer group don’t make the cut. So, our hats are off to the winners. They all excelled at engaging their workers, making them feel appreciated, and aligning them behind a mission. And remember, that’s not just our opinion: The employees told us that themselves.”

Based on the survey results, distinct themes were revealed:

  • Strong company cultures breed stunning individual and team performance.
  • Workers at the best companies don’t view their employers as sugar daddies. They aren’t mesmerized by whatever giveaways seem to be the latest fad—be it gourmet lunches or beer fridges.
  • When employees feel valued by their organization, they are far more likely to be engaged. This single factor proved to be one of the largest drivers of employee engagement.
  • A corporate culture that values openness and passion not only helps employees feel that they’re making a difference in the big scheme of things; it drives them to produce the best results.
