MetroStar Systems, a leader in information technology services and government consulting, announced today that it has named Clyde “Tom” Nixon as its Chief Growth Officer. In this role, Mr. Nixon will oversee the company’s growth strategies and further develop its commitment to customer needs by aligning operations with market dynamics and consumer preferences.
“We are excited Tom is joining MetroStar Systems at such a pivotal time,” said Ali Reza Manouchehri, Executive Chair, MetroStar Systems. “He has a proven track record facilitating growth within large public-sector integrators, where a growth mindset is imperative for the companies to remain ripe and on a path to long-term success. His diverse career experience will be an invaluable asset for MetroStar’s leaders to navigate a highly-concentrated growth plan that includes a major transformation at our firm.”
Nixon brings over 25 years of strategic growth-management experience to the company, having most recently presided over Nixon Management Group, LLC. Prior to that he was Executive Vice President and Chief Growth Officer at SRA International, Inc. and Vice President of Business Development and Marketing for the Defense Solutions Group at SAIC.
Tom’s appointment follows several of MetroStar’s recent successes, including the establishment of its Cloud Managed Services to support its 900% increase in revenue growth serving FedRAMP-Moderate and High Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS).
“MetroStar has an extraordinary track record of service innovation and an energizing vision for its future,” said Nixon. “I’m thrilled to have the opportunity to support the company’s long-term goals and help continue its pattern of revenue growth and market engagement.”
Nixon is the most recent senior hire for MetroStar Systems, indicating its dedication to providing value to customers by growing its Enterprise IT, Digital, and Cyber Security practice areas.
