Rebranded NIH Website Sees 33.4% Engagement Increase

Using Human Centered Design & DevOps Support to Rebrand Federal Websites

We provide the National Institutes of Health (NIH) Information Technology Acquisition and Assessment Center (NITAAC) with a full brand and digital refresh and website redesign using our Human Centered Design (HCD) process and DevOps support.

To meet this project’s aggressive launch schedule, we followed an integrated and collaborative Agile development process for website redesign. The rebranded NITAAC site is an interactive, intuitive, mobile-responsive website based on HCD that houses essential contract vehicle information. By creating functionality for visitors to search for contract holders, services offered, and other resource pages, user engagement increased, jumping from 2.74 to 3.66 pages per session.

Aside from redesigning the NITAAC website, we developed a standalone iOS/Android mobile app called “NITAAC Go” which provides NITAAC a more convenient way to stay connected to every aspect of the acquisition process. Through the app, users can view the most up-to-date information about NITAAC’s events, training, and acquisition support.
