Anthony Salvi Appointed Chief Operating Officer of MetroStar Systems

anthony-silvaMr. Anthony Salvi joins Metrostar Systems as Chief Operating Officer after a successful 29 year history in both industry and government. For the last 9 plus years he was Senior Vice President, Enterprise IT Solutions at CACI, an industry leading integrator. At CACI he led an 800 person organization providing IT solutions to Federal Civilian, DoD, and commercial customers. Clients included Department of Homeland Security, Department of Justice, Housing and Urban Development, Navy, Army, and DISA. Mr. Salvi led major wins for CACI including DHS EAGLE I and II, DOJ ITSS4, FBI ITSSS, and DoS DME, as well as leading numerous individual contract and task order wins. His organization has grown exponentially since he joined CACI in 2005. Prior to his tenure at CACI, Mr. Salvi headed the Federal Civil Division at McDonald Bradley, Inc. (MBI) a small business that has since been acquired. Mr. Salvi began his career as an acoustic engineer for the US Navy, where he quickly became an expert in submarine silencing and detection. He was promoted to Branch Chief at the Naval Surface Warfare Center (formerly David Taylor Research Center) and led a group of 80 engineers at three sites supporting new submarine design and maintaining acoustic superiority for the United States. Mr. Salvi is committed to developing new IT leaders and is engaged in multiple Mentor Protégé programs within industry and government. He was the ACT/IAC Industry Chair for the 2011 Partners Program, Industry Vice-Chair for the 2010 Partners and a Partner in 2008. Mr. Salvi has supported numerous ELC and MOC committees and has a long history of support for ACT/IAC.
