Herman Hewitt, Jr.
Senior VP of Business Development
Herman Hewitt, Jr. oversees strategic and practical expansion of MetroStar System’s business. In this role he is responsible for managing the MetroStar team’s relationship with customers, emerging markets, relationships, and partnerships.
Prior to working with MetroStar, Herman was the President of Hewitt Strategies & Solutions, LLC, where he worked a range of companies, including Fortune 500 companies, to improve and expand their business within the federal market. He has more than 20 years experience in business development, sales, finance, operations, and information technologies, working for companies such as Siemens’ Federal Enterprise Solutions, ACS Government Services, and Consolidated Waste Industries, among others.
Herman is a member of the Board of Trustees for the Washington Adventist Hospital Foundation and is a Trustee of the People’s Community Baptist Church. He holds accounting degrees from the University of Maryland and Manhattan Community College.
When not on the job, he’s enjoying himself on the golf range.
